Alstom has won first prize in the "Digitalization" category at the Assolombarda Awards 2025, thanks to the Control Room project at its Sesto San Giovanni (MI) plant.

Alstom was also handed the Social Value Award. The judges said: “Alstom has created and embedded an agile, inclusive and responsible culture committed to delivering social and environmental value for communities, employees, and customers.”

Alstom has been recognized by Fast Company as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies in 2026 for its role in advancing American rail through the production of Amtrak’s NextGen Acela trains.

The world's largest-ever gathering of historic and modern trains – held at Alstom’s 90-acre Derby Litchurch Lane Works in August 2025 – has secured a Project Team Award at the RailStaff Awards 2025.

Alstom is proud to have won the "Best French Success Story in Canada" award presented by Gowling WLG at the 2024 Recognition Award gala, held on April 4 in Montreal, organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Canada.

Yasha Siddiqui was named Graduate of the Year at the RailStaff Awards. She was the Graduate Chair of Alstom’s graduate scheme in the UK, where she focused on enhancing the programme for future graduates, and ensured that everyone felt included and supported.

Harry Bateman, Business Development Graduate at Alstom has been named Young Rail Professional of the Year. This award honours an individual who uses their platform to show wider society all the railway has to offer, while inspiring those within the industry.

Barry Calder, Infrastructure Engineering Director at Alstom won the Distinguished Service Award. As the YRP’s highest accolade, it is bestowed upon an individual who has made a profound, positive and lasting impact on the rail industry and, in particular the YRP community.
