ALSTOM wins order worth 160 million Euros for combined
cycle plant in Moscow

ALSTOM has won a 225 MW electricity power plant order worth
around 160 million euros. The combined cycle plant consists of
two blocks type KAX100-2DH. Each block is based on two ALSTOM
gas turbines type GTX100 and one 30 MW ALSTOM steam
turbine.

The end customer and future operator of the plant is City
Energo Ltd, Russia.

The plant will be supplied by ALSTOM's facility in Finspong,
Sweden and will be built in two phases. The work on the first
phase has already started and first connection with the
electrical grid, in simple cycle mode, is scheduled for the
beginning of 2003. The second phase is scheduled to start in
July 2003.

The power plant will be built in the centre of Moscow and
will provide district heating and power to a new international
business centre, Moscow International Business Centre, which is
now under construction.
