Appointments

Nick Salmon, up to now Executive Vice President of the Power
Sector, is appointed Executive Vice President of ALSTOM and
becomes member of the Executive Central Management.

Alexis Fries, up to now Executive Vice President of the
Power Sector, is appointed President of this Sector in
replacement of Claude Darmon who leaves the Company.

The Executive Committee of ALSTOM will be, from now on,
composed of Pierre Bilger, Chairman and CEO; Nick Salmon,
Executive Vice President; François Newey, Chief Financial
Officer; Andrew Hibbert, General Counsel; Alexis Fries, Power;
Philippe Joubert, T&D; Michel Moreau, Transport and Patrick
Boissier, Marine.

The Executive Central Management is composed of Pierre
Bilger, Nick Salmon and François Newey.
