The stand promoted and demonstrated ALSTOMs
leadership in High Speed Rail and Very High Speed Rail at
Eurailspeed, held in Madrid's Palacio Municipal de Congresos y
Exposiciones. ALSTOM also presented its services and offerings
such as its Turnkey Projects, Infrastructure and
Interoperability.
In addition, Michel Moreau, president of ALSTOM Transport
and Antonio Oporto, president of ALSTOM Transport in Spain, met
his Royal Highness Juan Carlos, the king of Spain,
at the opening ceremony of the congress.
Two ALSTOM representatives spoke at the Congress:
François Lacôte Senior Vice President, Technical, and
Etienne Fournier Project Director Systems, Korea.
As part of the Closing Ceremony, Michel Moreau participated
in a round-table discussion on the theme 'High Speed Rail
Prospects Around the World'.
