ALSTOM delivers first of 60 CITADIS trams to Rotterdam

The CITADIS tramcars, which feature four double doors on one
side, can carry 180 passengers. The range’s modularity
keeps initial and maintenance costs low, allows broad
customization and makes for rapid delivery.

Comfort and easy access for passengers is afforded by the
CITADIS design, with its low floors, quiet operation, large
windows and a generous interior.

To date, more than 380 CITADIS have been ordered worldwide.
The trams are already in operation in Melbourne and in the French
cities of Montpellier, Orleans and Lyon. Paris, Barcelona,
Bordeaux and Dublin, among other cities, have chosen CITADIS and
are currently taking delivery.
