Instead of welcoming them at an indoor exhibition stand, the Freight Wagon business unit was using the product itself, the Habis 11/3. Visitors were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable a freight wagon can be. On the next track, Transwaggon was exhibiting a ALSTOM Hirrs 6 sliding wall wagon. DB Cargo was showing its new Hcceerrs 330 car carrier from ALSTOM, the so-called Tube, onto which the freight transport operator had loaded brand new Mercedes Benz cars.

During a vehicle presentation, Rainer Zechendorf of Transwaggon and Jochen Hahne symbolically handed over the new Habis 11/3 to Volkswagen Transport, who is leasing it for the transportation of car motors. Ralf-Peter Idel of Volkswagen Transport said: The new Habis 11 series makes a real contribution to assuring the quality of our customers products and to optimising logistics processes.

The next transport logistic takes place from 31 May to 4 June 2005 in Munich.

The successful concept for transport logistic is now being transferred by Messe München to the Chinese and East Asian market. The first transport logistic China will take place from 11 to 14 May 2004 in Shanghai.
