King Juan Carlos of Spain visits Santa Perpetua

ALSTOM Transports Executive Committee, headed by
Philippe Mellier, Country President Antonio Oporto, as well as
representatives of the MTM-Macosa foundation and trade unions,
received the King, who was accompanied by the President of the
Catalonian Government, the Ministry of Industry, and other
dignitaries.

HM Juan Carlos was particularly interested in the 9000
Series trains for the Barcelona metro, the Madrid LRT, the
Tenerife tramway, the modular suburban trains for RENFE and the
Shanghai metro.
