Alstom to deliver bogies for another 14 Cobra trams to the
Zürich transport authority, VBZ

The Zürich transport authority has already ordered 74
low-floor trams from the consortium. The additional vehicles are
required for the new lines of the Glatttal and Zürich West
tramways. The bogies will be mounted at ALSTOM Schienenfahrzeuge AG
and delivered in 2009 and 2010. "Together with the staff in
Neuhausen, I am very happy to receive this order, which will make
a positive contribution to the utilization of the plant", said
Max Wittwer, the general manager of ALSTOM Schienenfahrzeuge
AG.
