People in Stockholm now get the chance to experience a
really new tram. The inauguration will take place on Monday 27
August at 1 o'clock pm at Norrmalmstorg together with Christer
G Wennerholm, traffic county council commissioner, and Mikael
Söderlund, vice major for city development.
Alstom has delivered 70 new Citadis trams till Madrid. Every
tram consists of 5 units with 54 seats and a standing capacity
of 132. The vehicle is 32 meters long. Citadis Madrid has a low
floor through the whole wagon, big windows and an open interior
that allows a good overview. It's also easy for the passengers
to move along inside the wagon.
The Madrid-wagon is a good representative for the model
Citadis that soon will be sold with 1000 exemplars all over the
world.
Traffic times on Djurgårdslinjen are from 25 August - 1
September 11.00-14.30, 15.30-18.30 and 19-22. For
