Alstom showcased its solutions during the Transport exhibitions in Russia

ExpoCityTrans-2012 held in Moscow at the All-Russia Exhibition Center (VVTs) from 2 to 4 October gathered more than a hundred transportation companies from Russia and Europe. The exposition with more than 14 thousand square meters in area comprised two theme-based parts dedicated to the underground and surface transportation.

Alstom and our strategic partner "Transmashholding" company exhibited their products at a joint booth where we showcased a Coradia train model as an Alstom solution for suburban passenger operations.

The exhibition served as the platform for the 2nd Eurasian Congress the main public transport event of the year in Russia. Alstom was represented by Jean-Marc Pagliero, Strategy Director / metro from Alstom Transport Global Solutions Operations who spoke to the attendees on automated metro solutions.

Concurrently with the Moscow exhibition, Russian Railways organized a TransZHAT conference in Rostov the main event of the year for railway transport automation and telemechanics specialists.

At this event, we also performed in co-operation with our Russian partner Promelectronika.

The exhibition housed a conference, at which Gerald Kowalski, Signalling Director for the region Russia & CIS, was the Alstom's spokesman. His speech was dedicated to Alstom/Promelectronika solutions for low-density lines (based on the ATLAS 400 concept).
