Alstom Introduces Its Largest High Capacity Roller Mill
Warrenville, Illinois – Alstom today introduced its new Raymond® 120” Roller Mill System designed to dry, pulverize, classify and deliver various types of materials with feed sizes ranging from 10 – 70mm. This larger mill complements Alstom’s existing product line to address the growing need for limestone sorbent and solid fuel alternatives requiring greater milling capacity.
“Our new 120” roller mill is the largest of its kind and ensures customers maximum production, flexibility and reliability at a reduced cost while maintaining superior quality.” said Thorston Holl, Alstom’s Vice President of Auxiliary Components.
The Raymond 120” Roller Mill is especially well suited for processing materials which are classified as 5 or less on the Mohs scale of hardness. It has the ability to produce a wide range of material sizes from granular to fine, for maximum flexibility. This mill controls product size and production quality with minimal power which reduces overall operating costs. Some additional construction features that offer advantages to the customer include journal assembly, vertical shaft hub connection, trunnion bearings dual-o-ring, fabricated plow support and flange bearing for turbine classifier.
