Sunand Sharma elected as President of Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry

ALSTOM India Limited (AIL) a leading player in providing energy requirements and transport solutions, today announced that Sunand Sharma, Country President, Alstom India & South Asia and Chairman, Alstom India Ltd. has been elected as the President of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) at the 151st General Council Meeting of IFCCI held recently in Mumbai. Mr. Sharma was associated as Vice-President with IFCCI in his previous role. 

As President, Mr. Sharma will head the leading bilateral business organization having more than 450 active members (both French and Indian companies) from across sectors. In this role, Mr. Sharma will ensure the continued success of the organization towards the development and implementation of both innovative and established strategies for successful business outcomes. 

Being elected to serve as president of Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry is an honor, Mr. Sharma said. Throughout my time spent supporting this organization, I have witnessed IFCCI grow and accomplish  amazing things. I am looking forward to facilitating even more growth and organizational sustainability in the coming years. 

Established in 1977, IFCCI aims to facilitate and promote networking within the French and Indian business community and  also provides services to members of IFCCI as well as non members to develop their business in France  and India. IFCCI is also an active member of the UCCIFE (The Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry French Abroad), a French organization which represents 114 French Chambers of Commerce in 78 countries.
