Alstom will start the selection for the internship program 2014

Alstom, a company dedicated to the production of equipment and solutions for rail transport infrastructure, generation and transmission of energy, will open registration for its annual internship program on August 15th. The next group will have approximately 60 opportunities for Brazil and the internship will last 12 to 24 months, depending on the function and department. Registrations can be submitted until September 30th only by the site.
Applicants must be enrolled in higher education or technical courses scheduled for completion in the two years following the opening of registration (between late 2014 and late 2015). It is required to have intermediate English (for some positions), excellent communication and interest in working in large multinational companies. Workplaces are the units of São Paulo, Taubaté, Itajubá (MG) and Canoas (RS).
The higher education courses considered in the program are Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Electrotechnical and Production), Administration, Accounting, Economics, Psychology, among others. The technical courses are Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electrotechnical, Electronics and Electroeletronics. The selection is made by screening resumes, tests and dynamics, and interviews with managers from the area. It is estimated that more than 4,000 students will enroll in the selection process in 2014.
The program provides complete development to the interns participating: it relies on an integration of new interns in February and monthly meetings that facilitate the monitoring of the progress of participants, covering topics such as Presentation Skills, Introduction to Project Management, Ethics in the workplace, Teamwork, among others. In addition, interns are encouraged to work in an internship project throughout the year.
