Blooming good support for Partington Parish Council

Alstom and DF have planted the seeds of success by donating £500 towards Partington Parish Councils entry into the RHS Tatton Flower Show.  

The cheque was presented to Parish Council Chairman, James Clare.

Cllr Clare said We have had great success with our Flower Bed entries and have won two silver and two gold medals in the past four years.  This year our theme is bath time and without giving too much away, there will be floral tributes to rubber ducks!  I am grateful to Alstom and DF for giving us this boost to our funds.

The Flower Show takes place at Tatton Park on 25-28 July and Cllr John Smith said It takes us a couple of days beforehand to set up the display, with everybody working round the clock and dealing with last minute alterations.  It is very much a community effort and we are pleased that Alstom and DF were able to assist us.
