The French documentary TV series focused on the sea, Thalassa, is aired tonight on France 3 channel (Friday 24 October 8.45pm) with a special focus on Scotland.
A part of the TV program is dedicated to the energy that can be harnessed from the ocean, especially tides.
You will discover Alstoms 1MW tidal stream turbine currently tested in Orkney a at the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) located off the coast of the Orkney Islands in Scotland.
