After close to five years as Group Chief Financial Officer, Nicolas Tissot changes roles and becomes Advisor to the Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer to assist him in the execution of the project with General Electric.
Jean-Jacques Morin, currently Senior Vice President Corporate Controller after being successively Finance Senior Vice President of the Power Service and then the Transport Sector, is appointed Group Chief Financial Officer.
These changes will be effective December 1st 2014.
Nicolas Tissot is a graduate of HEC, Ecole Nationale dAdministration and a Finance Inspector.
He started his career at the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry (1995-1999), and then joined Suez, where he first worked in the Finance Control Department after which he was appointed Head of Group business control (2000-2003). Then he was successively appointed Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President Suez Energy International (2003-2005), Chief Financial Officer of Electrabel in 2005, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of GDF Suezs Global Gas & LNG business (2008-2010).
He joined Alstom in May 2010 as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Committee.
Jean-Jacques Morin holds a M.Sc. in Aeronautics from SUPAERO (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de lAéronautique et de lEspace) and an MBA.
He started his career with Deloitte in 1987. He spent 5 years in Audit and Consultancy based in France and Canada. He then joined the Technology industry where he notably spent 13 years with Motorola in various Financial leadership roles based in France, Switzerland and the USA with ON Semiconductors as the Corporate Controller of this spin-off from Motorola, floated on the NASDAQ (IPO); and with Communicant as the CFO of this Germany based start-up.
He joined Alstom in 2005 as Sector CFO of Power Service (200507) and Transport (200713) before being appointed Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of the Alstom Group in May 2013.
