Alstom selected in Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe indices for the sixth year in a row

Alstom has been selected in Dow Jones Sustainability indices (DJSI), World and Europe for the sixth consecutive year, which recognizes its leading position in the field of sustainability. With an overall score of 78 out of 100 in the DJSI ranking, two points more than previous year, Alstom was one of the top performing companies among the 3,400 companies invited to participate to the assessment. This year Alstom demonstrated particularly good progress on customer relationship management, innovation management, environmental policy and corporate citizenship. 

Launched in 1999, the DJSI World is an international sustainability benchmark and the first global index to track the leading sustainability-driven companies based on RobecoSAMs analysis of financially relevant Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors and S&P[1] DJIs robust index methodology. The Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) prepared by RobecoSAM, an investment specialist focused exclusively on sustainability investing, analysed criteria such as corporate governance, risk management, code of business conduct, environmental management, climate strategy, supply chain management, occupational health and safety and respect for human rights among other things.
