An Agreement has been signed for the implementation of a project to upgrade and expand the technical facilities at the Esibonelwesihle Secondary School which will be funded by the Alstom Foundation.

As part of the agreement which follows extensive engagement between the parties the Alstom Foundation will fund a mechanical technology and engineering graphic and design curriculum, combined with practical component, at the school for learners in Grades 10 to 12.
The school will be equipped with the tools and equipment necessary to allow extensive, high-quality training to be given in welding.
