As Top Employer Europe, Alstom has joined a prestigious group of companies that are committed to the highest European standards regarding the working environment and a great dedication to HR excellence

30 January 2020 Alstom has been awarded Top Employer Europe for 2020, having been certified by the Top Employers Institute, in six countries: France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Belgium and UK.

Certified organisations dedicate themselves to providing the very best working environment for employees through their progressive Human Resources (HR) practices.

More specifically, the HR Best Practices Survey measures close to 600 practices, in order to evaluate the company’s employee conditions. The international independent audit, Top Employers Institute, covers on ten different topics: Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, On-boarding, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Career and Succession Management, Leadership Development and Culture.

“We are extremely proud to have been certified as Top Employer Europe because it confirms the highest quality standards of our practices in Human Resources management. Our decision to pursue Top Employers certification was driven by the will to challenge ourselves in terms of our HR practices and to have an external view on our internal processes to continuously improve the Employee Experience. Alstom, I am pleased to say, is on track to attract, engage and retain some of the best talent in the world and we are targeting to get the Worldwide Top Employers certification in the years to come.” says Anne-Sophie Chauveau-Galas, SVP – Human Resources and Sustainable Development at Alstom.

“Recognising our regional Certified Top Employers 2020 is an extremely proud moment for us all. This level of certification showcases the dedication to the consistent application of HR excellence on a regional level – an impressive commitment to enriching the world of work. Congratulations!” says Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink.
