Marc Bernier who has been serving as Chief Financial Officer Alstom Americas since the acquisition of Bombardier Transportation in 2021, has been appointed in the role of Vice President of Rolling Stock and Components in North America

Marc brings a deep knowledge of the business and a strong leadership developed in the rail industry and other sectors

He will lead the full P&L for Rolling Stock activities in North America, including engineering, development, and production sites, and have accountability for delivering all Rolling Stock projects in the region

1 December 2025 – Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Bernier as Vice President, Rolling Stock and Components, North America, effective December 1, 2025.
Marc Bernier currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Americas and was previously the Chief Financial Officer for Bombardier Transportation in North America, which he joined in 2019 from Bombardier Inc. He brings a wealth of experience from leadership roles across aerospace, consumer goods, banking, and audit industries.
