U.S. regulators approve ABB ALSTOM POWER joint

U.S. competition regulators have given the green light to
the proposed 50-50 joint company in power generation created by
ALSTOM and ABB, the two companies announced today.
European Commission approval was received at the beginning
of June for the formation of ABB ALSTOM POWER which is
scheduled to start operations shortly.
