ALSTOM expands its service business in China

LATech is a privately owned, Hong Kong-based engineering
company which serves utility, industrial and municipal clients
in Hong Kong and southern China. The company provides
professional engineering & consulting services, industrial
human resources management and construction, operation &
maintenance services. Its turnover in 2004/05 was around
€10 million.

This investment is one further step towards expanding ALSTOM
Power Service¡¯s presence and local capabilities in
view of marketing integrated service solutions for thermal
power stations to the Chinese market. LATech¡¯s
established client and supplier relationships will be a
platform for pulling through ALSTOM¡¯s service
technology and advanced maintenance solutions.

The acquired business will firm as of now as ALSTOM Power
Service China Limited.
