- The turbine with three housings including generator has a
weight of over 300 tons and the installation work has already
begun, reports Nils Lannefors, marketing manager for ALSTOM
Power in Sweden and Sieghard Hennings, who is Alstom's
technical adviser during the erection.
The Installation shall, according to the schedule of the
customer, be done in August, when hot commissioning shall
start. The Condensers that also have been delivered by Alstom
are already assembled. The steam turbine plant will produce up
to 160 MW electricity at condensing operation and 270 MW
district heating at back pressure operation after scheduled
start of operation in January 2009.
