This happening earned Alstom’s stand to be awarded by
the event's organization as the Stand of the Year 2009.

Brasília is the first Latin American city to order a
modern tramway. Brasília government signed a contract with
the Brastram consortium, comprising Alstom, for the supply of
the tramway. The participation of Alstom on this first phase is
worth around € 140 millions, and the project foresees the
supply of 16 Citadis and the construction of 8km of rails (1.2
of which will use the APS technology).
