Tenerife’s Citadis have a capacity of 200 passengers
of which 60 are seated. The expected demand for the new Line 2
is 1.4 million passengers per year, or 5,000 passengers per
day. Manufactured at Alstom’s industrial site in
Barcelona (Spain), these six new units join 20 others already
operating on Line 1 since June 2007.
In addition to the assets of the Citadis range (special zones
for mobility impaired passengers, integral low floor,
information systems for passengers, air-conditioning…),
Tenerife’s trams are equipped with Wifi services for
their passengers to be connected while travelling.
