Alstom signs a new 1.35 billion syndicated revolving credit facility

On 16 December, Alstom signed with 18 international banks a 1.35 billion syndicated revolving credit facility with a 5 year maturity to refinance an existing undrawn 1 billion facility. The transaction was oversubscribed, which illustrates both its success and the markets confidence.

In line with the Groups cautious liquidity management, this transaction extends the maturity of the existing facility from March 2013 to December 2016. It also increases the amount of the existing facility in line with Alstoms growing size following the acquisition of power transmission activities in 2010, which are now operated by Alstom Grid.
