On 26 April 2012 in Kolobrzeg, during the VII International Conference of Turboset Users, ALSTOM Power has signed an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation with Gdansk University of Technology.
The cooperation covers areas such as power engineering, materials engineering, materials and equipment diagnostics, and environmental protection and aims to upgrade the learning and training process of future engineers. In addition, under the agreement there will be organized joint seminars and conferences, as well as scientific sessions as well as internships for students of faculties related to the areas of cooperation.
University of Technology and Alstom will conduct joint scientific research and cooperate in the field of of scientific and technical publications.
In addition to this, the engineering and technical staff of Alstom will have an opportunity to benefit from trainings and postgraduate studies organized by the Gdansk University of Technology.
