Alstom goes to Sochi

Alstom took part in the Seventh International Rail Business Forum "1520 Strategic Partnership", held in Sochi between 31 May and 2 June 2012. The international audience of circa 1000 rail professionals showed the increasing popularity of the event as a key communication platform for leaders of the railway business.
At the forum Henri Poupart-Lafarge, President of Alstom Transport, presented Alstom's AGV, which belongs to the latest generation of high speed trains, as well as the infrastructure and signalling solutions for cross-border routes between Russia and European Union. Bernard Gonnet, Senior Vice-President CIS took part in the session dedicated to the localization where he presented Alstom's localization strategy across the world and in Russia.
The Strategic Partnership 1520 (SP) is providing an annual analysis of the railway transport performance across the wide gauge. The SP seeks to help coordinate polices on railway transport development across the area 1520 to secure it is on the cutting-edge of global transportation market.
