Alstom took part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

Alstom took part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum last week, which gathered the world economic and business elite for the sixteenth time. During the event Alstom CEO Patrick Kron participated in the panel discussion "Industrialisation: The trend for developing markets?" The panelists discussed re-industrialisation of the emerging markets, global division of labour and world competition.

Also at the Forum, in presence of Patrik Kron and CEO of Federal Grid Company Oleg Budargin, Vice-president CEER Alstom Grid Gerhard Seyrling and director of Soyus Holding S.A. Igor Prikhodko signed Memorandum of Understanding, aimed at establishing a JV on production and sales of high-voltage equipment in Russia.
