Alstom is Star of Export 2012 in Turkey

Alstom Grid Enerji Endüstrisi A.. has achieved first prize in the category of Electrical Generation and Distribution Equipment according to the 2012 top exporters report announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM).

During two ceremonies, held in Istanbul, Alstom won awards as both Export Champion 2012[1] and Star of Export 2012[2].  These annual events award the companies which have achieved the highest volume of export in their respective categories over the previous year.

Alstom, a worldwide leader in the fields of power generation, power transmission and rail system infrastructure, maintained its position in the country and achieved first place for 2012, just as in previous years in its respective category. The result and these prizes demonstrate Alstoms strong level of exports and continued success in its field.

Alstom Turkeys Gebze plant is currently the largest transformer factory in Turkey and exports 85 percent of its production to countries worldwide. With its first-in-class facilities and engineers, Alstom Turkey is recognised as a preferred supplier in the field of power transmission, not only within the country, but all over the world.
