Frédéric Brun has been appointed Director of Le Creusot site, a centre of expertise and reference for bogies for locomotives, trams and metros, employing almost 650 people.
A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Frédéric Brun began his career in the steel industry working for Arcelor, where he have held operational roles at a number of production sites across France before transferring to business development in India. In 2007, he joined the Alstom Power sector, initially as a project manager for the turbo-generator plant network, then as the head of planning and projects for the Belfort site, before taking over as site director in 2012.
