Alstom Innovation Awards

I Nove You™ at a glance

I Nove You™ is a yearly, company-wide internal programme designed to reward the creativity of Alstom’s people in all its forms. All employees across the company can submit their innovation projects in six different categories.

Alstom can only be as innovative as its people: it is the ingenuity of employees that fuels the company’s drive to revolutionise mobility. For almost 17 years now, the I Nove You programme plays the central role in this quest: finding Alstom teams with incredible projects, showcasing them to the whole company and then building on their foundation.

Unleashing innovation from within

In 2024-25, the contest reached an outstanding number of 1,317 submissions from 87 different sites representing 28 countries and involving more than 3,000 employees, demonstrating the strong potential for innovation within our company.

To close the I Nove You competition, a special ceremony is organised every year to recognise the best innovations at a global level among all the projects submitted in different categories. But it does not stop there, the best regional and local projects are also recognised at their level.

Creating value through innovation

This programme has seen the birth of solutions that are now successfully available to our customers. That is the case for the monitoring maintenance solution TrainScanner (2015), the world's first hydrogen-powered train Coradia iLint (2016), the multimodal traffic orchestrator Mastria (2019), PEPA-F™: Air Filter (2021-22), the next-generation onboard computer (2022-23), and more recently with virtual homologation software for railway dynamics (2023-24).
